2008 Industry Council Support Levels

The NLA has designed an Industry Award Program to recognize the contributions of those supporters who pledge an annual funding commitment to the organization for the national and regional programs. This recognition is enhanced by the additional contributions provided to fund additional continuing education activities of the society. The NLA will prominently acknowledge supporters who provide annual grants at or above the levels described below:

Diamond Level Supporter ($750,000 Annually)
Diamond Level Recognition is given to those companies that provide support in the AMount of $750,000 or greater annually. In order to qualify for Diamond level support, a minimum of $250,000 of the contribution must be allocated to annual meeting support provided as $50,000 or more for four of our regional meetings plus the NLA Annual Meeting each year. Supporters at this level will also receive:

• Acknowledgement for your support at each of the meetings
• Complimentary 6' table top at each of the regional meetings
• Double booth with priority placement at the 2008 Scientific Session
• 15 complimentary registrations per regional and annual meeting for company science/medical personnel
• Two invitations to the NLA Board of Directors and Industry Council Dinner at the 2008 Annual Scientific Sessions
• Opportunity for priority timeslot selection for accepted applications for satellite symposia

Platinum Level Supporter ($500,000 Annually)
Platinum Level Recognition is given to those companies that provide support in the AMount of $500,000 or greater annually. In order to qualify for Industry Council Membership, a minimum of $125,000 of the contribution must be allocated to annual meeting support provided as $25,000 or more for four of our regional meetings plus the NLA Annual Meeting each year. Supporters at this level will also receive:

• Acknowledgement for your support at each of the meetings
• Complimentary 6' table top at each of the regional meetings
• Double booth with priority placement at the 2008 Annual Scientific Sessions
• 10 complimentary registrations per regional and annual meeting for company science/medical personnel
• Two invitations to the NLA Board of Directors and Industry Council Dinner at the 2008 Annual Scientific Sessions
• Opportunity for timeslot selection for accepted applications for satellite symposia

Gold Level Supporter ($250,000 Annually)
Gold Level Recognition is given to those companies that provide support in the AMount of $250,000 or greater annually. In order to qualify for Industry Council Membership, a minimum of $125,000 of the contribution must be allocated to annual meeting support provided as $25,000 or more for four of our regional meetings plus the NLA Annual Meeting each year. Supporters at this level will also receive

• Acknowledgement for your support at each of the meetings
• Complimentary 6' table top at each of the regional meetings
• Double booth at the 2008 Annual Scientific Sessions
• 10 complimentary registrations per regional and annual meeting for company science/medical personnel
• Two invitations to the NLA Board of Directors and Industry Council Dinner at the 2008 Annual Scientific Sessions

Silver Level Supporter ($125,000 Annually)
Silver Level Recognition is given to those companies that provide support in the AMount of $125,000 or greater annually. In order to qualify for Industry Council Membership, a minimum of $75,000 of the contribution must be allocated to annual meeting support provided as $15,000 or more for four of our regional meetings plus the NLA Annual meeting each year. Supporters at this level will also receive:

• Acknowledgement for your support at each of the meetings
• Complimentary 6' table top at each of the regional meetings
• 5 complimentary registrations per regional and annual meeting for company science/medical personnel
• Two invitations to the NLA Board of Directors and Industry Council Dinner at the 2008 Annual Scientific Sessions
• Opportunity for timeslot selection for accepted applications for satellite symposia

Bronze Level Supporter ($75,000 Annually)
Bronze Level Recognition is given to those companies that provide support in the AMount of $75,000 or greater annually. In order to qualify for Industry Council Membership, 100% of the Bronze Supporter's Contribution must be allocated to annual meeting support provided as $15,000 for four of our regional meetings plus the NLA Annual meeting each year. Supporters at this level will also receive:

• Acknowledgement for your support at each of the meetings
• Complimentary 6' table top at each of the regional meetings
• 5 complimentary registrations per regional and annual meeting for company science/medical personnel
• Two invitations to the NLA Board of Directors and Industry Council Dinner at the 2008 Annual Scientific Sessions
• Opportunity for timeslot selection for accepted applications for satellite symposia

Funding at these levels allows the supporter to participate in the NLA Industry Council. Additionally, all Industry Council supporters will be acknowledged on the lipid.org website, in the annual meeting materials and signage and in the annual meeting issue of the Lipid Spin newsletter.
