Extending Program Life

Valuable time and resources are used in the development and implementation of a satellite symposium. Extending the reach and life of these programs can be achieved through the production of enduring activities, such as online webcasts or podcasts, or print programs, such as CME newsletters. Basic pricing for enduring activities is listed on the budget template worksheets available from the NLA office.

Symposia archived as a webcast on the NLA online CME Community, www.nlacme.com, will showcase synchronized audio recorded from the live activity with the PowerPoint presentation. The presentation is programmed into a user-friendly interface. The activities are complimentary to participants and will offer CME credit for physicians and CE credit for pharmacists, nurses and dietitians. NLACME.com is the main portal for NLA members to participate in high quality online education, to track their lipid-focused continuing education credits and their progress on the NLA professional development curriculum.
