Head to the hip, historic district locals call LoDo (short
for lower downtown) where 26 blocks of Victorian red
brick warehouses have been converted into brewpubs,
rooftop cafes, jazz clubs and bistros. One hundred years
ago, LoDo was home to Bat Masterson, Buffalo Bill,
Calamity Jane, Soapy Smith, and other frontier icons on
dusty streets teeming with gunfighters, wagon trains
and gold miners. Today, it is one of the most fashionable
addresses in Denver.
