Program Overview
You are invited to participate in the National Lipid Association Self-Study Modules (NLA-SSMTM) Primary Care Series Edition 1, Management of Dyslipidemia: Focus on Combination Therapies. Edition 1 of NLA-SSM PC is part of a series designed to help you strengthen and reinforce your knowledge of clinical lipidology. Through a guided assessment exam process, the programs are designed to uncover gaps in knowledge that will motivate self-directed professionals to take action to close it.
The CLM-SAP and NLA-SSM modules were developed utilizing medical board certifying examination principles to provide an active learning experience that will improve your understanding of the options available for managing patients with lipid disorders. Each SAP module is comprised of a syllabus and an assessment with 90+ multiple-choice questions. Upon completion of the assessment questions, you will access detailed explanations (referred to as "Educational Critiques") and references to other educational resources. The multiple-choice questions are challenging and designed to reinforce educational concepts that are expanded upon in the Critiques. The Syllabus, Assessment and Educational Critiques together provide a complete learning experience.
The credits earned by completing the SAP modules can be applied toward meeting the requirements necessary to be eligible for the American Board of Clinical Lipidology (ABCL) and the Accreditation Council for Clinical Lipidology (ACCL) Certifying Examinations.
