Baylor Virtual Lipid Preceptorship Program, co-sponsored by the NLA & PCNA - Module 1 Now Available
The NLA has teamed with Baylor College of Medicine Center for Collaborative and Interactive Technologies to implement a Virtual Lipid Preceptorship program that will be hosted on Baylor's Lipids Online website. Open to all NLA members, preceptorship participants will engage in learning, implementation, and assessment activities that are presented in five modular components designed to improve lipid management practices among those who are involved in clinical service delivery. The Preceptorship design is highly interactive and offers access to online forums and communities of practice that will provide engagement with peers and sharing of challenges and solutions. NLA Comprehensive Cardiometabolic Risk Reduction Program - Register Now
This is a national CME program, sponsored by the NLA, designed to expand the standard of care provided to patients with cardiometabolic risk, such as those with obesity, central adiposity and/or the metabolic syndrome. The NLA has identified 12 renowned lipid centers to lead this effort. Each lipid center will be offering training courses in fall 2007 and 2008 to NLA members interested in enhancing their clinics with more aggressive standards and broadening treatment protocols for the effective management of cardiometabolic risk.
