This short-course is designed to inaugurate and advance your lipid clinic and/or CMR program clinical practice whether you are in the organizing stages or you have an existing program. Topics include: checklist for operationalizing a lipid clinic practice, selecting appropriate laboratory test measures, 2012 physician and nonphysician billing, pro forma analysis, new federal regulations, alternative program referral and payment models, organizing treatment pathways, objective lipid and therapeutic lifestyle therapy outcomes measures, marketing your program, cardiometabolic risk reduction programing, working with PCMH’s and ACO’s, and attaining best practice/center of excellence status.
