This is a fairly accurate account of the war between low fat and low carb diet.

He goes on a fast food diet.  Instead of eating 5,000 calories as the author of Supersize it does, he eats 2,000 calories of fast food, three meals a day.  He loses weight, and has less total body fat at the end of a month.

I think the NLA should ask this guy to come speak to us.  He was a stand up comedian.

He would probably be cheaper than Gary Taubes.

You can buy this on Amazon.com.

He gets the large LDL being better than small LDL.

He does teach about LDL-P but then reports his lab as Total Cholesterol and HDL.

He doesn't show that lower LDL-C results in less death.

He doesn't realize that low LDL-P results in low inflammation.

I was at The Obesity Society meeting two weeks ago.  I was surprised to meet a lipidologist who now specializes in obesity that did not know that Ancel Keyes had left out data to make his lipid hypothesis work in the Seven Nation trail.

This Fat Head video covers that.

I would like to hear more opinions about this seminal study: The Seven Nation Study.
