Journal of Clinical Lipidology Now Accepting Papers
The NLA is pleased to announce the launch of the official Website of the Journal of Clinical Lipidology. Visit the Journal online at:While there are no issues available yet – we are not due to publish until March 2007 – the Journal Website allows authors and others to submit papers for consideration. Two links at the bottom of the page titled, "Author Guidelines" and "Manuscript Submission," facilitate the process and explain the Journal's requirements for accepting papers.
We will be challenged to gather the number of papers needed in 2007, and we hope that if you are looking to publish material concerning lipidology that you will consider the Journal first. Typical articles would explore lipidology as it is practiced in the treatment setting, recent developments in pharmacological research, reports of treatment and trials, case studies, the impact of lifestyle modification, and similar academic material of interest to the practitioner.
When you have a moment, visit the website at www.lipidjournal.com and familiarize yourself with the online manuscript submission process. We are accepting papers now and urge you to contribute. When our Journal is indexed through PubMed, all of our published articles will be retroactively indexed (we expect this to happen in approximately 14 to 18 months). Immediately upon publication, however, all accepted articles will be placed online at ScienceDirect.com.
