BOARD CERTIFICATION IN CLINICAL LIPIDOLOGY
The NLA has led an effort to make lipidology an independent medical specialty by spearheading the formation of the American Board of Clinical Lipidology (ABCL), an independent certifying organization. A primary goal of the NLA is to build a foundation of education opportunities - from basic training to board review courses - that will provide our members with the ability to advance their professional development, expand their expertise in lipidology and, ultimately, demonstrate their commitment to the specialty by obtaining Board certification from ABCL.
