Dear Friend and Colleague,
The company Regeneron is developing an antibody against PCSK9, intended for use in patients with inherited hypercholesterolaemia that do not reach therapeutic goals.
To gain insight in the natural history of the disorder caused by gain-of-function mutations in PCSK9, Regeneron has designed a study to investigate the characteristics of a group of patients with these mutations. One goal of the study is to publicize the results in a collaborative fashion. InterChol, The International Cholesterol Foundation (ICF) has agreed to assist Regeneron in composing such a study cohort.
In order to assess the feasibility of such a study, we have proposed to Regeneron that InterChol first do a survey amongst the international community of physicians and researchers with special interest in the field of inherited hypercholesterolaemia. We therefore kindly request a moment of your time to fill out the questionnaire below. In case this survey does not apply to you, we would be very grateful if you were to pass it on to a colleague that might be interested.

We highly appreciate your participation and very much value your collaboration.
With best wishes,
Dr Joep Defesche
