Honorary Lifetime Member of the NLA

Recipient will be a scientist or clinician who would lend prestige to the NLA by being given Honorary Lifetime Membership by virtue of his/her unusual expertise and contributions to the field of clinical lipidology

The NLA (national) board and each chapter board will be requested to make one nomination per year, and these nominations will be forwarded in a timely manner to the NLA Honors and Awards committee. One or more Fellows of the NLA may also submit a nomination for this award, through the NLA Awards committee.

The NLA Honors & Awards committee will review and vote to approve one or more worthy nominees, limited to five per year.

1. The recipient receives an honorary lifetime NLA membership and is entitled to all member privileges without paying dues
2. A plaque will be presented to the recipient(s) at the NLA Annual Scientific Sessions.
