Program Overview & Target Audience
Given the breadth and complexity of the 2026 dyslipidemia guidelines, and the well-documented gaps in risk stratification, primary prevention practice, treatment goal attainment, non-statin utilization, and population-specific management, there is a clear and urgent need for education that facilitates translation into clinical practice. Clinicians must not only understand the updated recommendations but also develop the competence and confidence to apply them across diverse patient populations and care settings.
By aligning educational content with documented practice gaps and delivering it in a format that supports sustained engagement, the program aims to improve clinician performance and ultimately enhance patient outcomes. Increased adoption of guideline-recommended practices has the potential to improve lipid control, reduce ASCVD events, and address persistent disparities in cardiovascular care.
Target Audience
This activity was designed for clinicians involved in ASCVD risk assessment and lipid management (physicians, pharmacists, advanced practice providers in primary care, dietitians, cardiology, endocrinology, and internal medicine).

Criteria for Success & Commercial Support
Statements of credit will be awarded based on the participant’s attendance and submission of the activity evaluation form. Partial credit may be awarded for ACPE credit. A statement of credit will be available upon completion of an online evaluation/claimed credit form at the end of the activity. The deadline to claim credit is February 28, 2027.
