Overview

This short-intensive is designed to advance your skills at organizing and operating a solvent but clinically impactful lipid clinic and/or Cardiometabolic Risk Management (CMR) program whether you are in the organizing stages or you have a mature program. Topics include: differentiating features of a lipid clinic versus a cardiometabolic risk management program, checklist for operationalizing your program, selecting appropriate laboratory test measures, 2011 federal regulations on physician and non-physician billing, coding guidelines, objective therapeutic lifestyle therapy outcomes measures, internal and external promotion strategies, contracting your program with local employee benefit programs, and attaining best practice status.
