	A Message from Dr. Dean G. Karalis, Newly Elected President of the Northeast Lipid Assocation It is my pleasure and honor to serve as the new president of the Northeast chapter of the National Lipid Association. Over the next year my hope is to grow the membership of our chapter, promote the expertise that we offer in lipid management and involve more of our members in our national committees. The NLA is a great organization and we should all be proud to carry its banner and promote it in our communities. Please feel free to reach out to me with your thoughts and ideas on how we can grow and promote our regional chapter and the NLA as a whole.
	NLA Treasurer Dr. James Underberg Awarded 2015 NLA President’s Service Award Dr. James Underberg, recently elected treasurer of the NLA, was awarded the President’s Service Award at the National Lipid Association’s 2015 Annual Sessions. This award recognizes an individual for service and dedication to the NLA, and advancing the development of the specialty of clinical lipidology.
	A Message from the President of the 2015/16 Northeast Lipid Association It is a pleasure and an honor to serve as the new president of the New England chapter of the National Lipid Association. I hope I can live up to the accomplishments of my predecessor, Joyce Ross! My goal is to serve the NLA members in the northeast by highlighting our CME activities, promoting the cause of/need for lipid expertise and forming a bridge to national involvement.
