In Memoriam: Dr. David Roger IllingworthWe are sad to report that we learned last week that Dr. Roger Illingworth passed away in early November after a long illness. He was a founding member of the NLA Board. Dr. Illingworth’s career was dedicated to understanding, preventing and treating patients with cholesterol and lipid disorders and heart disease, and his research was instrumental in the development of the statin drugs from the earliest days. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Dr. Illingworth’s family. |
