low HDL/eleavted LFTs

I have a 6 yo M seen in consultation recently for elevated LFTs, found on routine labs by PMD, AST/ALT 68/111, rest of chem 20 normal. TC 75, TG 127, HDL 13, LDL 37, TFTs normal, CBC shows slightly low Hb at 10.6. Asymptomatic, no signs on physical exam including no HSM, eating and growing well, BMI 72%. My routine liver workup for elevated LFTs was benign, sonogram (-), and when labs were repeated the LFTs came down slightly but still elevated at 62/81, and the cholesterol remains low--TC 75, TG 92, HDL 19, LDL 38, apoB 45, apoA1 low at 71. LAL deficiency testing was (-). Any ideas on the lowish HDL with the abnormal LFTs? Thanks.
