Fun Years of LipidSpin - 2009 to 2015

LipidSpin was the most fun NLA project ever! It’s a win-win.

Educating and being educated at the same time. What a great way to give back to the NLA!  During our time, Jamie Underberg and I developed a wonderful tag team. We got to build on each other’s strengths and weaknesses and energies and fill in for each other in the team process!

One of the greatest parts of the job has been working with colleagues with not just review but also editing. It has been great to collaborate with NLA members from around the country.

We were blessed with a wonderful team of creative staff members who relished visual as well as academic correctness combined with imagination and talent! Jamie and I weathered board controversy, financial focus and we were able to help LipidSpin become a creative task for involving all regions and showcasing the talents of our members.

It was for us a labor of love. It was really hard work, but the challenges were inter mixed with enormous highs. How much fun is it to overcome hurdles and make things come out alright?

We got to keep our eye on the ball. We received guidance from some real menches in the NLA and created lasting friendships. We had to be mindful of business and potential conflict issues. Most of all, the creativity of involving as many as we could in our efforts was gratifying. Thanks to all for the opportunity, and thank you Jamie for being a real buddy in the everyday trenches of meeting deadlines!

Thanks to the NLA staff through the years. You come from a long line of creative and caring individuals on a very worthwhile mission.
