For Physicians: Certified Lipid Specialist Certification
Certification is offered by the American Board of Clinical Lipidology (ABCL), the only advanced certification program of its kind in which physicians can their enhance their clinical knowledge and validate their expertise. ABCL certification assesses the level of knowledge required of a physician to be officially recognized as a Clinical Lipidologist.
For Physicians and Allied Health Care Professionals: Clinical Lipid Specialist Certification
Clinical Lipid Specialist (CLS) certification is offered by the Accreditation Council for Clinical Lipidology (ACCL). This program is for cardiovascular care team members (Pharmacists, Physicians, Physician Assistants, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Dietitians, Exercise Specialists, and Industry and Research Professionals) who are seeking advanced training in clinical competencies and meet qualifying criteria.
