In connection with the Familial Hypercholesterolemia ("FH") initiative of the Foundation of the National Lipid Association, the NLA held a consensus conference in January 2011 to bring together experts on FH for the generation of an NLA statement of clinical guidance regarding the diagnosis and treatment FH. RE: Exercise Group Post update (10/1/13). This slide deck is an ongoing and enduring slide resource for the topic of exercise intolerance, myopathy, and statin therapy. There is growing support for the influence of statin therapy (probably dose related but this has not been confirmed) and exercise responsivity in some individuals.
